Quinta do Lago North - very exclusive golf!
This course was originally know as the Ria Formosa Course. Quinta do Lago is an very exclusive golf and residential estate bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Ria Formosa Natural Park, in the Algarve.
The three courses at Quinta do Lago (the North, the South and Laranjal) offers different challenges.
The terrain of the North course is comprised of firm, sandy Algarvean soil, that gives a helpful impetus off the tee. An array of features, including water, bunker and an undulating landscape makes the approach to each green memorable.
The Quinta do Lago North was designed by several architects. William Mitchell was responsible for holes 1 to 5 and 15 to 18. Rocky Roquemore (and Joseph Lee) designed the course from hole 6 to 14.
