One of the 5 Oceanico Pinhal Golf Course is one of the five golf courses in Vilamoura, and was originally designed by Frank Pennink. Several refinements were incorporated over the years, and the course was partly redesigned in 1985 by Robert Trent Jones - who introduced new challenges into the course. It is typified by rolling parkland terrain, covered with numerous pinetrees that line many of the fairways - a few even stand out on fairways or near greens! The clubhouse was completely renovated and modernised at the turn of the millennium. From the large verandah one can enjoy a panoramic view over the excellent driving range and practice facilities.
